ID an 1861 Ballarat Token? Help please.
Go here
http://users.tpg.com.au/nova43/token/ballarattoken.html I have located the Obverse in Rennicks Oz Coins 21st Edition, but the Reverse is very different. This is either a fake, OR a very rare find. It belongs to a neighbour - and may be auctioned later on Ebay. Any help in ID'ing would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Please email me direct at (nova43attpg.com.au exchange 'at' for '@') Greg |

Similar ones would be #155, #156, #157, and #158. However none state "Series One". Just my guess, non-contemporary repro. |

Would be nice to find a truly rare item. Perhaps I'll place it up for auction & see what transpires. Greg |
