Dozens of Meetings, Seminars At Americover 2009 July 31-August 2
Thirty meetings and seminars will be held during Americover 2009, the
three-day show and convention of the American First Day Cover Society being held July 31-August 2 in Boxborough, Mass. In addition, 10 societies and clubs will participate, there will be three public auctions, two bourses, a U.S. Postal Service booth, a talk by a representative from USPS Stamp Fulfillment Services, a pre-show tour and post-show dinner theater outing, and a World Series of Philately-sanctioned exhibition of mostly first day covers. The show is being held at the Holiday Inn, 242 Adams Place, about 11 miles from Minute Man National Historic Park. Hours for Americover are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Nearly all the meetings and seminars, as well as parking and admission to the show itself, are free and open to the public.
