wRONg,

what authority do you have, to dictate how someone should describe
their items on Ebay ?

maybe you should worry about your own descriptions instead ?

later,

trip

ps- you didn't "describe" to me, that the splice on the Wings tape you
sent, was gooey and faulty, and would jam the deck first play within 2
seconds

what about that ?

I didn't quite catch that. Why do you list pictures on your auctions
and then send something else? Why do you sell copies publicly but
represent them as originals? later, ron

tape deck ?

I did "describe" to you that the tape was 'as found'--all I did was
play the tape a few seconds to make sure it would play. Played okay
for me. I am sorry it didn't play okay for you; unfortunately, I
didn't do any repairs on that one tape. I know this matter has really
troubled you, however, so send me your address and I'll send you a
sealed blank to make up for it. You could use it to dub an alignment
tape if you wished. Mind you, just like the Wings tape, I won't have
checked it, so you're on your own to make repairs. And, just like the
Wings tape, I'm letting you know beforehand that I haven't checked it.
Full disclosure, then and now. Do check the blank before you dub your
alignment tape onto it. I'm confident that you can now make your own
8-track repairs. Right? later, ron

because they are ALIGNMENT TAPES- when one sells I hit relist and list
it again- each one has the identical alignment program on it- the first
run of tapes with black and white labels is SOLD OUT- the new lot has
red/white/blue labels

picture is being changed to match new lot

you're making a big f-ing deal out of an alignment tape label.

Ron,

You had respliced the tape, I checked the splice- it was cued up and
indexed to the beginning of the loop and the sensing foil strip had
just been played through- the splice was gooey and sticky- and had gone
into the reel and jammed the tape

one may even make the logical deduction, you gooed up that splice so
the tape would get eaten instantly- but I won't sweat the small stuff

see how you can be done in by the same cynicism you show towards others
?

give it up- at this point, you're trolling the group yourself, and you
should be above that

later,

Charlie

ps- I'm confident no reasonable person is going to get upset over an
alignment tape label- my first feedback page now has (5) positive
feedbacks for the new lot of alignment tapes with the colored label- so
obviously, it is not an issue- take a look for yourself

ps- being you're all for full disclosure, then post your phone number
and I'll call with my complaint- after all, you have nothing to hide,
right ?

or just call me when you grow a pair...

You always sweat the small stuff. Give it up--and change your
listings. I offered to replace the cart with a sealed blank--if you
don't choose to, that's on you.

Besides, no reasonable person would leave positive feedback for buying
a copy of something represented as an original. Why must you be so
dishonest? You should be above that. later, ron

What have you got to hide, Charlie? You want to complain, go right
ahead. If you're human enough to be honest about it... later, ron
