Default 1961 Topps #7, Chicago White Sox Team

----------------------------------------------------------------
1961 Topps #7, the Chicago White Sox
team card is shown here, both front and
back:

In 1961, the White Sox finished 4th in
the American League, 23 game out of
1st, with an 86-76 record.

The back of the card gives the stats
for the previous year, 1960. Notice
that Minnie Minoso is listed as the team
leader in hits. He not only led Chicago
in hits but he led the league, and at 38
years old!!

I think he is still alive. He would be 82 years old
now. They'll be lots to write about this popular
player when I get to my card #380!! /;-)
