Default USA stamps

Hello:

I try to class my little collection of definitives USA stamps but it
is impossible.

I collect all varieties of definitives, and scott catalogue has not
all them with photo. A stamp can have 1, 2, 3 or the 4 sides with
teeth or not, with several types of perforations, adhesive, on coils,
on sheets... and this one is not sown at Scott.

Could any of readers of this group to advise to me some web page where
I could find all types of definitives stamps?

I have seen a very good page of flag over porche, and another of 39c
satatue of liberty, but none more.

Thanks a lot.

Pablo

Hello Pablo,
I've got the same problem trying to identify which Scott numbers
correspond to my US definitives as there are many variations of some stamps
that can only be distinguished attending very very small differences in
drawings, for example. I think it is a question of being patient enough and
go through the work carefully.

regards,
Pedro

Hello Pablo:

If you are a specialist collector, you probably need the Scott's USA
Specialized catalogue, not just the general "Standard" one (Volume I).

The "Specialized" is available in hard cover (US $130) or
paperback (US $70) or on CD (US $60).

Hello:

Thanks a lot for all your answering.

I collect all varieties I can recognize, but I do not know if there
are more types for a same picture.

Scott image that Andy has kindly joint in his mail shows that even
scott talk about stamps with 1, 2, or 3 die cut sides, but perhaps
side cut is up, or is right, but it daes not exist down; and some
booklets have not all 9 possibilities of stamps. From time to time
there are booklets with last down right stamp with label. It is for
that because I would like to get web pages with ALL photos on it.

I have found a very goog page about FOP

http://www.ro-klinger.de/flagoverporch/

that perhaps let readers know what I am looking for.

Thanks again for your answer.

Then there's the Paraguayan option

Flag over Porche.

Note: the Paraguayan flag has two different sides,
the obverse is shown.

You can look at the pages written by Robin Harris (editor of the
Unitrade specialized catalogue for Canadian stamps).

http://www.adminware.ca/flag.htm

Here is an example of what you want, I think.
