THE B.E.P. ALSO RELEASED OTHER DENOMINATIONS IN UNCUT SHEETS AT VARIOUS
TIMES & THESE FAKE ERRORS CAN ALSO BE FOUND ON THOSE SERIES, WHICH A THE
1999 $1.00 RICHMOND STAR - E/* THE 1995 $2.00 ATLANTA STAR – F/* ANY 1995
$5.00 OVER 96,000,000 1995 $10.00 ATLANTA STAR – F/* THE 1996 $20.00 SAN
FRANCISCO STAR – AL/* THERE ARE ALSO A FEW SILVER CERTIFICATE AND LEGAL
TENDER SERIES’s THAT WERE RELEASED IN UNCUT SHEETS BUT IT IS USUALLY MORE
PROFITABLE TO KEEP THOSE UNCUT SO FEW ARE MANGLED. THE BOTTOM LINE IS: WHEN
IN DOUBT, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS! IF YOU ARE STILL UNSURE ASK AN EXPERT,
BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

I tend to think it is fake. Lew is correct when he says beware these
99 E* errors. I have a number of uncut sheets without perfect
front/back allignment where one could create this sort of error. I
would hesitate to buy ANY "cutting error" from ANY block known to have
been issued in uncut sheets numbered below 96000000. This includes the
$1 99 E* and the small number of $2 95 F* as well as some higher
denominations. I own a 4-note 1995 $2 star note sheet (which was only
issed in 16-note form) so I know some are being cut up. Also note how
close the serial number is to the other auction shown above. Simply
the fact that this "error" came from a block issued in uncut sheets
will always make it suspect, real or not.
