Great rundown on automotive history and the charming girls of La Belle
Province.

I'd hazard to guess that this descriptor is used quite subjectively.

Just for grins: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17579943/

"It was recently reported that Toyota will pass General Motors this year to
become the world's No. 1 automaker. This has far-reaching ramifications for
the business world, of course, but it also may have a profound affect on
music.

Over the years, American cars have often been celebrated in song. Certain
models have been immortalized by artists in love with machines manufactured
in and around Detroit. Now Toyota threatens that relationship.

Music aficionados are familiar with "Mustang Sally," but would "Celica
Sally" produce the same nostalgia someday? Is "Little Deuce Coupe" in
danger of being replaced by "Little Green Prius"?"

Ker-POW! Charlie Nudo takes another hit right to the head! Hey
Noodles! Your brain must be dribbling out of your ears by now.

Such are the passage of time and the vagaries of progress. Remember,
people in the 19th century loved their horses and buggies, as well as
their "prairie schooners." No one in their right mind, except a few
eccentrics, would use them for transportation anywhere today. Beside,
the aforementioned songs are things of an increasingly distant past.
Ask any "Gen-Yer" if they've even heard these songs all the way
through, let alone recongize the lyrics. 99% probably have not, and
the car references mean nothing to them.
