Default cleaning coins

As I was reading about other "tests" people use for cleaning up coins,
it hit me.
Has anyone ever tried to see what tomato juice would do do a coin? I
know it is almost straight acid, but......I may have to do this myself.
On a side note. I did fins a cir coin with tape on both sides, in the
very center of the coin. Is this some kind of a test? I thought it a bit
curious. Just wondering and not an old qtr. Georgia, I believe.
Second one I noticed. Seems someone had lots of time on their hands.
Looks as tho a sharp object was rubbed back and forth on both sides of
this other qtr. very straight lines. Any idea what could have done this?
Have a safe weekend.

I have use tomato juice on coins. Makes it
looks like most of the other acids make coins look, horrible.
Lemon juice works good on brass bucks.
