Default Flexibility in the Pelikan extra fine nib

I have several Pelikan nibbed pens and have enjoyed them all, but I recently
purchased my first M400 to be equipped with an extra fine nib. I have found
it to be remarkably flexible for a modern pen. Has anyone else had this
experience with the Pelikan EF? I am interested in determining if this is a
property common to that nib.

Is this a current issue 400 nib?
Pelikan nibs vary quite a bit from one to another.
In general, yes, I find the current issue EF nibs are more flexible than
other sizes.
Try an M1000 with an EF! Lays a line like a medium, and acts like a pool
springboard.
Enjoy your M400

Pelikanyo Paul

Thanks. Yes, this is a brand new EF nib.
