Some really wild stuff happened on Aug. 2.

I have as yet to add that all elusive 1908 FE to my collection :-)

WHAT? You mean to tell me that all of those cents dated between 1859-1909 were
struck with the wrong dies? AUGH! I WANT MY 1877 FE!

Duh,
Chief "Flying Eagle" is the native american pictured on the Indian Head
penny. Everyone knows THAT.

Trivia most people dont know: He was named by his paternal Grand Father -
Chief 'Long Acre'

I sent their webmaster a note bringing this error to his/her
attention.

Thanks for doing that. I was going to, but I knew that the minute I
did that they would immediately correct the error and no one would get
to see.....*gasp* what am I thinking!... it's the gubermint!..it would
just stay that way for years and years (silly me).

I am really impressed that this actually was changed to the proper

Looks like my message finally got read by the webmaster of the site.
It's been changed to Indian Head cent (from Flying Eagle cent).
