Any Ideas to help with eBay problem?
While going through some personal problems, my automatic payment for
eBay fees went through my checking account and were returned because I didn't know at the time that my personal problem cleared out my account. So, I was NARU'd. I have since paid my amount due, but my account still has not been reinstated. I have asked twice now that it be taken care of and twice I was told that my past due amount has been paid and my account would be reinstated in 3 to 5 business days. However, nothing yet and it has been a month now. I click on the link to pay my account and it shows my balance due is $0. So I tried to open a new account and I can't do it because I need a credit card to open a sellers account. Now get this...I used my debt card to pay my overdue fees and now I cant use it to open a new account because it has been suspended on eBay. The only time I have EVER used it on eBay was to pay my past due bill. Anyone have any ideas on how to get my NARU removed? JP |

If you have, you've realized that you're dealing with pimply-faced, know-nothing, future bureaucrats of America. Customer service on ebay is useless. I was permanentlty NARU'd a few years back because *someone* at my address (they refused to tell me who it was or what the situation was) had allegedly defaulted on an auction. Nothing more. No matter who I wrote to or tried to call, I was given the run-around and hit brick walls. I finally gave up and opened a new account with a new name. Screw them. The only saving grace was that I only lost two feedbags (both positive). The only possible alternative would be to write the Attorney General in Sacramento, CA and file a complaint. Of course, ebay will jump to their forever constant reply, "we're only a venue." Jerry Waiting for a better auction site to develop. |
