FA: Some Lincolns and a Jefferson - 15 hours left!
Thanks for looking!
http://tinyurl.com/6tyal The 1934 and 1935 Lincolns are still way underpriced, and there are still no bids on three of the coins with $0.99 starting prices. Time to pick up some steals! -- Eric Babula Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA |

Time to pick up some steals! -- Eric Babula Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA 3 out of 5 items went for less than $3.01. At least you made some money on the shipping? LOL! I wish I had seen your post, I would have bid on the three items and won. I'd have liked to have had them. Please post a couple of days ahead of auction ending, my ISP doesn't always get me the freshest messages in a timely manner. Jonathan_ATC |

Jonathan_ATC Sorry - usually, I make a post when I first list the items, and again on the last day of the auctions. I thought that was normal protocol. Well, sometimes you win some, and sometimes you lose some. After totalling up all five auctions, I still made a profit. So, it's still a good day. After adding up my costs: padded mailer, bubble wrap, tape, printing of the invoice, gas money to get to the Post Office, postage, and delivery confirmation, I doubt I'm making any money on shipping. I haven't actually added it all up, but I'm thinking I'm pretty close to actual costs. Keep your eyes open - I'm going to try to keep listing coins on a more regular basis. I have my eyes on a few key date and semi-key date Morgans from a friend of mine, and need some cash. I'm in the process of imaging some more coins and preparing them for auction (well, I'm going to try, anyway!) - hoping to get them on ebaY this weekend. I'll post a new FA: post if/when I do. Thanks for your interest! -- Eric Babula Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA |

Thanks for your interest! -- Eric Babula Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Yes, as a seller myself, I tend to forget about the costs associated with selling. I don't know why I do that. One thing that I can't seem to get a discount on is padded mailers. I COULD buy them in bulk, but I don't see myself needing 100-500 padded mailers! I am very lucky in the fact that I can mail everything from where I work and don't have to drive to the post office. When I worked from home, I had to save up shipments and just go to the post office twice a week. But, of course, back then, gas was half the price it is now. Now I just ship everything USPS Priority mail and I require insurance. I have not had one complaint. I do BIN sales and make my shipping costs very clear so I do not get less for my items due to the shipping. The Priority Mail small boxes are perfect for mailing proof sets and the like. I print the mailing labels on USPS website and mail from work. It works for me and that is all that matters to me. Jonathan_ATC |
