Default New-Hebrides 1977 Local overprints

I am looking for information about the current issue overprinted locally
in 1977 (apparently 12 stamps in French legend and 11 stamps in English
legend (Yvert No. 476 to 285 and 486 to 494).

When and where exactly wete they overprinted and why ?

I am looking as well for somebody who could sell them to me.

Thank you. Stpoy.
