Dawson- yes
8 time all star, 2774 hits, 438 HRs
Canseco- no
Primarily a DH, very bad fielder
Ablert Belle- no
Same as Canseco
Blyleven- yes
287 wins, 3701 strikeouts
Tommy John- yes
288 wins, 3 time 20 game winner

Dawson- yes

***YES- least we forget he is also a member of the elite 300/300 club.

Canseco- no
Primarily a DH, very bad fielder
***NO- as you said, a very bad fielder, and primarily DH.

Ablert Belle- no
Same as Canseco
***NO- altho i would rate him just a tad above Canseco.

Blyleven- yes
287 wins, 3701 strikeouts
***YES- one of few with 3500 strikeouts, close to 300 wins.

Tommy John- yes
288 wins, 3 time 20 game winner
***NO- this is a tough one, because personally, i think he got his
"name" due to the "surgery". he was also on better teams than Bert "Be
Home" Blyleven. He did have good stats tho, so like i said, it's a close
call.

what about Ron Santo?
***YES- compares statistically with all the other third basemen. Is
usually in top three or four in all the catagories.
