Default Interesting grading and description

Is it just me or is the grading and description slightly off-centre?

It is a VG at best and maybe just a strong good. However, note that the
seller is in Australia and may not know US coins and US grading standards.

Yes, thats what I graded it as but surely anyone can see that its worn flat.
I have learnt the hard way (paying full catalogue value for overgraded
coins) that dealers and collectors, no matter how experienced, have
difficulty grading foreign coins. I continually see Australian
dealers/collectors overgrading English and US coins and vie versa, I see
English and American dealers/collectors overgrading Australian coins. Again,
the reason for me getting on my soap box on this issue is that I have learnt
the hard way. I am currently investing in some literature specifically on
the topic of grading but unfortunately its sadly lacking on the topics of
English coinage although I am coming across more and more information on US
coinage, which is something that I am becoming more and more fond of. (Just
before christmas I purchased a miscellaneous lot of world coins for $10AUD
and amongst them was a 1900 quater dollar [Barber??]. An honest grading
would place it as good Fine but its presents well although I havnt seen
another so cant be sure on that!).

Looks like you got a good deal on that purchase. The 1900 Barber quarter is
probably worth close to what you paid of the whole lot (or perhaps more).
