Default Foxe's Book of Martyrs

I have a set of John Foxe's Book of Martyrs and I am looking for
information about them. They were printed in 1610. I am curious about
their value and would like to know if anyone knows of an appraiser in
the Tennessee area. Any help would be appreciated.
THANKS!

I gather that would be the sixth edition [1563, 1570 [corrected
edition], 1576, 1583, 1596, 1610. There were also editions put out in
1632, 1641, 1684 [the latter consisting of three folio volumes of 895,
682, and 863 pages respectively, having two columns per page and 80
lines per column]. There were two more recent editions 1837-41 and 1877
in eight volumes. I would guess, yes, it is worth quite a bit.
Searches I did on used.addall.com did not yield anything even remotely
like your copy. I could not even find the 19th century editions
listed. I cannot answer for Tennessee, but this might be significant
enough that you would want to use the appraisal services at Christies or
Sothebys in New York.
