Default box of cards for sale

Hi, new to the group! My husband collected
baseball/football/hockey/basketball cards when he was a kid, and he
just gave them to me to sell. They are all mint, and I have an old
cardboard box he kept them in as well. I'm wondering how to know what
they're worth, or how to sell them. I don't want to list them on
eBay, there are literally overl 1000 and that would take forever. I
also have some Magic cards I think about 100, with some foil, that I'd
like to sell. Thanks!
