Graded SLU trading cards?
I used to pick up an occassional Starting Lineup figure here and there in
the mid 90's. While I did get some figures that I like and I plan to keep, I was guilty of buying some on speculation. With the bottom having fallen out of the SLU market, I'm wondering if anybody has had any success sending off the trading card to a grading service and getting it slabbed for resale? If the production figures (rumored) are anywhere close to being accurate, those cards are probably extremely limited when compared to the OVER produced public offerings from the major card manufacturers during the same time period. I know that this has probably been discussed already but I can't find any information on them either on Ebay or by Google search. I'd like to just come close to breaking even and free up some space in my extra room. Does anybody have any opinions either way? Any stories good or bad? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Steve |
