just wondering i just bought a bunch of Ms 70 and Pr 70 SGS coins, nice
stuff but not prefect. I bought the coins to break out of their slabs
and go into a set i am putting together. and paid what the same coins in
68 or 69 raw would have went for. so i got what i wanted. just had
never seen or heard of SGS before

Hey guys,
I am new to this group and I believe that SGS is a two bit operation. I too
purchased coins from this seller on eBay. The coins were roosevelt dimes
from the 1940's graded MS69!! However the coins had bag marks in prime
focal areas which would have only made them MS65 or 66 at best. But I
managed to get them cheap. Just another reminder...DON'T buy the
holder!...buy the coin!!
As for the holder (for all you prospective buyers out there), it is simply a
white piece of plastic that the coin fits into with an outer shell of clear
plastic. The plastic pieces are held together by ...of all things....
STICKERS!

Caveat Emptor!!!!!

Fred
