Harry ("Buddy") Jeanette 1948 Bowman Basketball Card... Question

Hi,

I just bought a lot of sets of 1992 - 1994 Marvel Comics collectors
card sets at a yard sale. Tucked in among them is a signed 1948 Harry
Jeanette Bowman Basketball card from 1948 (he was a coach that year).

However, in googling photos on the web, these 1948 cards seem to have
color photos and colored as well as black writing on the back. The
card I have is black and white, front and back, with no color.

So my question is: is this a photocopy of a card... or were the coach
cards black and white on these sets? Or maybe could Jeanette have had
his own repros made, for handing out and signing at autograph sessions?

If this is a great find, I'll be fair to the guy who sold it to me...
but if it's worth nothing, I won't be worried about it.

What is the size of the card? Is the card printed on a thin paper or a
cardboard? Is the surface on the front very shiny or just a little bit
glossy? Are the edges sharp or slightly rounded/worn? On the bottom of the
back does it say Bowman? You can email me pictures of both sides of needed.

the 48 Bowman Jeanette books $135. Unsure if there are any other sets
parallel to this one. Beckett only lists Jeanette in the 48 set, nothing
else. They actually only list 6 cards for him all-time. maybe it is some
other reprint type thing.
