In 2009 the Lincoln cent will be 100 years old and Abe will have
received sufficient commemoration to allow the design to be retired.
The mint should revert back to the indian cent.

Why?

Also, why not a new design?

Tony

The indian cent is a classic design that is the ultimate for a small
cent. It cannot be improved upon.

But now that I think about it, do I really want to see that beautiful
design on a piece of copper--plated zinc? No. The engravers will
probably give her spaghetti hair, too.

The mint should replace Abe with a likeness of Frank Provasek.
