Default Rockola 488 VS Seeburg STD2

Possibly have a chance to have my choice between these - Any thoughts?

This will be my first Juke. I'm handy with solid state pinball, but
never have been into jukeboxes --- until now.

I really like the "Quirkiness" of the STD2... But The Rockola 488
isn't a bad looking box for the 80's either.

Thanks!

Matt -

If I had to choose I would take the STD2. I think Seeburgs from that era
sound great. Be warned however, that if the little lights are burned-out
they are a real pain to replace. If both machines work well you should
listen to them and decide which sounds best to you - or just buy them
both! Nobody should have to live with only one jukebox.

The Seeburg looks better .

I have a Seeburg STD4 right now that i restored . This jukebox kicks
major butt for sound . The bass is deep and it cranks real loud , the
blinking lights are great .
It has a mike input that i used for an ipod input . I also moved the
volume and eject controls to the front . Everyone likes it . Someone
liked it so well today they bought it !

I suppose the STD2 might have the same basic sound system in it ?
