Default Rowe Ti-1 select coil locking on

Hi folks;
I was wondering if somebody might help me figure out what's going on
with my Jukebox.

I have a Ti-1... it works pretty good, but lately I've been getting an
issue where one of the select coils locks on. I usually won't realize
it's done it until the record starts playing over and over again...
because the coil is holding the pin down!

Anyways, I've looked over the schematics but can't figure it out.
What 'kills' the power to that coil? I don't believe the coil itself
is bad, because if you turn the service switch off then back on, the
coil releases.

Sometimes the buttons stay latched in, as well.. so I guess whatever
resets the buttons, likely also kills the power to the select coil
after it hits the pin.

Can somebody point me in the right direction of what I need to test?
I've got a multimeter and should be able to check out whatever I need
to.

Thank you in advance,

Ron

Hello Ron,

I have sent you a few suggestions on one of the other jukebox forums.

I have seen this problem caused by R1 having residual magnetism & not
releasing when it should. (more likely if your machine is set on free
play) Put a piece of business card between the armature and the coil
on R1 and see if it works OK. Ray
