Vintage Spalding Wood Tennis Racket w/ Cloth Case, c. 20-30s

This 1920-30s Vintage all wood Spalding Tennis Racket with cloth case is in
excellent condition. The tennis racket is all wood with animal gut strings.
The racket measures 26 ½ inches long. The front side of the racket is
marked, (Cleveland, Horsman, Trademark) and has a logo. The bottom of the
handle has a leather wrapping held with brass nails. There is a brass screw
at the mid-section (this is original and correct, and not a repair). The
tennis racket also stamped 12. There is no damage to the racket. All gut
strings are present, no broken strings and all are still tight.
The tennis racket comes with its original cloth case. The case has a cover
with snap to secure the tennis racket and a front pouch with snap for tennis
balls. The case has a cloth label that says, (A. G. Spalding & Bros., Made
in USA, Trade Mark, Spalding). The snap buttons are brass and each marked,
(Spalding). The case has the ends of the carrying strap. The case also has a
tear on the backside at the bottom (see pictures). There are no stains. This
would make a nice addition to any vintage tennis racket display, as matching
cases are very hard to find. I am starting the bid at $9.99, well below its
value.
