I suppose change for change's sake is at work. With a jobless rate
of 4.4%, though, it is difficult to imagine a lot of unrest among the
masses.
The Dems will certainly have a hard time outspending the current
batch of supposedly conservative Republicans.

That figure has been inaccurate since Ronald RayGun's handlers decided
not to count anyone who's been out of work for more than 90 days. The
real unemployment rate in the US current hovers around 20% or more.
The reason this was done was that massive unemployment during the
industrial collapse caused by RayGun's policies was tanking his
popularity numbers.

Not only that, but manufacturing and technical jobs, which are well
paying, have declined precipitously under Bush Bird, and many "new"
jobs added since he was "appointed" in 2000 have been minimum wage
service jobs. Not only that, the Federal minimum wage of $5.15/hr
hasn't been raised in over 20 years. Many states now have enacted
their own, higher wage floors to compensate.

Biggest deficit, either in face valued or real dollars...ever. Biggest
spending on earmarks and "pork"...ever. Worst graft and corruption in
goverment...ever. And you call this "change for change's sake?"
People are fed up! They're also fed up with right wing ****tards
trying to sell of national parks to entertainment companies and real
estate developers, phony religious piety when evangelical preachers
are snorting crystal meth while getting serviced up the ass, and, last
but not least, Cheney and the Neocon's phony "war for oil" in Iraq.

As Jefferson once said, when things get screwed up like they are now,
"...the people have a tendency to put things to rights."

That's just the problem- Boob looks at the political world through the
blinders of his own financial condition- that being someone who's
unemployed, penniless, barely eating on SSI checks, living alone
divorced, and driving a 1978 Honda ****box.

Unfortunately for him, the majority of USA citizens don't live as badly
as he does- and his own laziness, low IQ, and stupidity is the only
thing to blame.
