Looks like he's changed his name to:
seattle_multi_media

Here's his official return policy as stated on Amazon:

"Buyers can return media items (that is, books, CDs, VHS tapes and
DVDs) in their original condition postmarked within 30 days of
shipment. A restocking fee of 20% will be assessed to all standard
returns, unless specified by the seller."

20% restocking fee!!!!!
No wonder his customers hate his guts!

Bob,

Isn't it about time to point out to Seattle that we here gave up on
this supposed problem MONTHS ago? Google Groups has been sorting
things in a rather odd fashion lately, and I am sure that is where
Seattle found these OLD, OUT-OF-DATE posts from an equally obsessed
poster.

I don't care who is stalking whom, just leave the kooks to their own
kookery, ok? You are better than this.

Thanks,

Dave

Called the cops yet? They've somehow inexplicably failed to show up.

David N. Schlesinger started this thread with a lie designed to smear
my business. He had every intention of abusing this NG from the start
for his libelous purposes. I did not start this thread. All I have
done is set the record straight. None of this has anything to do with
books, its his stalking/harassment behavior on display and nothing
more. And David N. Schlesinger is a fellow who can't control his own
behavior.

Oh, stop. You've been caught in multiple lies here already, so don't
try to pretend otherwise. You know full well that you and I had an
exchange regarding the Picatrix, precisely as I described, before you
went running, sobbing like a thwarted three-year-old, to get LJ Abuse
to suspend the poor sap in whose entry the "discussion" was being
conducted.

That's because you're not only a liar, but also a coward. And the only
thing you've managed to set the record straight about is that you're
in fact a pathologically lying lunatic who's got so little impulse
control that he can't work out that _he's_ doing way more to "smear
his business" than _I_ could ever do. You've most certainly
demonstrated who "can't control his own behavior". Want to prove me
wrong? Stop responding.

We both know you're _incapable_.

Thanks for doing my Will, JASON CHRISOPHER HUGHES aka LUIS M.
ARSUPIAL!

Actually this thread started on 2/10 and was resurrected when
seattle_bookseller started posting the other day (3/2).
Google Groups is working just fine.

You can't control yourself. Prove it, stop lying for 24 hours. Stop
posting to this NG for more than 15 mins. You can't do it. You are an
obsessive, psychotic little violence-monkey. Seattle Bookseller does
not do business in blogs. And I certainly don't discuss business in
blogs. I use email. And I don't use it with serial killer types like
David Schlesinger. David has been threatening and harassing my family
for SIX years now. It does not make any sense whatsoever that anyone
would discuss selling him a book in any manner when they are being
THREATENED BY HIM. Common sense alone blows David Schlesinger's lies
apart.

I own a pristine copy of a volume titled "The Picatrix", published by
Ourobouros Press in 2001 in a limited edition of 1000 copies (mine is
#331). I'm doing an appraisal of the current value of this book, so I
searched Bookfinder to see what was listed there.

There are several copies listed, ranging in price from a low of $204
to a high of over $500 (the latter from a Seattle brick and mortar
store for a copy with a scuff on the cover!) One of the outliers,
pricing a copy at $430, was an outfit called "seattle_bookseller". I
wrote and asked why the price was so high, and got an amazingly
vituperative and abusive response, stating that this "WAS HOW THE RARE
BOOK BUSINESS WORKED" and that I "NEED A COURSE IN REMEDIAL ECONOMICS"
and so on.

I was a little surprised at this, but a little research turned up the
even more surprising information that this seller is one "Luis M.
Arsupial", the same person who was doing business (kinda) as
"texas_bookseller" up until about six months ago, and who previously
created a huge stink in this group over some questionable
transactions!

This kind of pricing seems like nothing more than gouging to me. I
could buy two copies of this book for what this yoyo is asking for it.
I can only assume that he's doing business on a basis of relying on
his customers being ignorant and not doing their research. Based on
the listings on Bookfinder, I'd estimate the value of this book at
$225 to $250, certainly nowhere close to $430.

Is this a usual practice? Do a lot of booksellers price their wares in
the hopes that their buyers will be too stupid to know that they're
being asked to pay twice what a book is worth?

(Apparently this "Luis M. Arsupial"--"marsupial"...?--was once known
as "Jason Christopher Hughes", a name which turns up a wide variety of
odd and amazing postings on USENET...)

IIRC, YOU were the one issuing death threats, specifically to Tom
Swift fans.
Go take a bath Mr. Stinky!
