Default QS:Wurlitzer 1050

I have a Wurlitzer 1050 model. It is the remake of the 1015. I was
wondering what they go for in decent condition, working as well.
TIA.

I'm not sure what you mean by "decent condition". The Victory Glass
price guide lists the value of a grade 3 condition (aka "decent") at
$4,000. Personally I've never heard of one going for that kind of money
for a grade 3, especially for a 1050. Many people consider this a more
difficult mechanism to repair and keep in proper working order than
previous Wurlitzers. They have a good deal more microswitches that need
to be "just right", and some can be downright "touchy". At least it's a
genuine Wurlitzer you're talking about, and not a Look-a-like Sonata
from Mexico. A good friend has helped me with two of these and the
problems with them were too numerous to mention.
I'm not sure about your comment regarding the 1050 to be a "re-make" of
the classic 1015 model would be acceptable to all. More accurately, the
1050 could be called the first "nostalgi" model, made in 1973 to 1976
to resemble an older style jukebox, yet have a style all it's own when
compared to any other jukebox (exception of the afor-mentioned Snota
and the Rock-ola 1000 model, which was very similar.). Good luck, Rob

GRade 1 versions of the Wurlitzer go for about $4000, about 1k more
than the Rockola. Decent condition is a tough description, are any of
the plastics cracked or broken, If yes, they are expensive and
knuckle-busters to change. A dealer who is going to have to rstore it,
and sell it with a warenty -grade 1 or 2- will offer you $800 to $1500,
depending on condition. From a homeowner/hobbiest you might get $500
more.
