For once no glass pyramids ;-) The Euro 3.00 shows "Charity" (after 1536) by Lucas Cranach (either the Elder (1472-1553) or the Younger (1515-1586) ). http://tinyurl.com/5utbd The Cranach-painting is most likely the Elder, I will try and find out which one. The Euro 1.10 shows "Young Woman with a Fan" (1839) by Luigi Rubio (1795-1882). http://tinyurl.com/6xkka Interesting painting, and at any rate the first ever on stamps by this artist. -- Best regards Ann Mette Heindorff (Mette) http://www.heindorffhus.dk |

It is surely a real joy for those art on stamp collectors who haven't stopped their collections at the end of the last century, and continue to stimulate through their purchase the serious PAs in their policy of issuing nice art stamps. Of course, I'll try to order them ASAP, even if I still haven't found how to do it starting by the page: http://www.ept.lu/index.php?lm3=BF77...=C07F4BAA15F0# Victor Manta ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Art on Stamps: http://www.values.ch/ Philatelic Webmasters Organization: http://www.pwmo.org/ Romania by Stamps: http://www.marci-postale.com/ Communism on Stamps: http://www.values.ch/communism/ Spanish North Africa: http://www.values.ch/sna-site/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...54&item=831961 This would never do! in Queensland Aust 1999......... Youths in Australia's tropical northern state of Queensland were set to vote this weekend on whether public breastfeeding and foreign-language signs should be banned from their streets. The annual conference of Queensland's Young Liberals will consider a motion calling for on-the-spot fines for mothers who breastfeed in public. |

For once no glass pyramids ;-) And practical... the exhibition space was DOUBLED. Please let us know if you find out. I could find no definative answer. A new page for Mette's web site, perhaps? Blair (TC) |

Notice the differences to the link Mette posted: http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...54&item=831961 and to the one used for the stamp: http://tinyurl.com/5utbd a) scenery at top left in one, top right in other. b) no child in tree vs child in tree. c) child at left eating apple vs open hands. d) Charity semi-standing vs sitting.
