Wisconsin Quarter First-day Cover

The Wisconsin Federation of Stamp Clubs is a non-profit organization
formed in 1932 for the purpose of promoting stamp collecting.

The WFSC recently opened up its Wisconsin quarter FDC mail sales offer
to collectors outside of its membership.

On October 25, 2004, the U.S. Mint issued the Wisconsin quarter as part
of its statehood series. The WFSC produced a decorated envelope
commemorating the quarter's first day of issue. The envelope includes
a mint copy of the actual coin encased in archival material and placed
to represent the letter "O" in the word "Wisconsin" that
appears within the cachet (decorative design). Other artwork within the
multicolored cachet depicts familiar Wisconsin scenes.

The quarter's official U.S. Postal Service pictorial cancel is
applied to a 37-cent definitive Flag stamp.

Envelopes may be mail ordered by sending $5 per envelope plus $1
