I've added my two cents here and there, in the past, but this one is a
realy "main event" worthy IP in my books at least.m It's a long story, so please give me some time. I really appreciate it. About early 2002, I was a senior in a private high school in upper Baltimore Maryland(My goodness, it feels so long ago. Am I getting old?) I had this teacher who shall remain nameless, and who was a big wrestling fan with a secret he dropped on me two years earlier when he first came to my school. He was friends with Stacy Keibler and David Flair at the time the were engaged and lived here. I didn't let it get to me, although the questions I asked him. Anyway, my senior year came, and I was supposed to go on a work trip to a retirment villiage, at the time, which he headed up. I decided not to, and curse him out the best I could. Sharon Osbourne wouldn't use as much language in an argument as I did. Well, this didn't go over with me, as I lost sleep thinking about it, and within two days I left a message on his school message machine with an apology and how much I regret doing it. It was a good two minutes where I was basically saying how sorry I am. The next day, I leave another message telling him how, once again, I could not make this trip. So, I head from my art room, to my main teachers room (Advisor-Sort of like home room. Think Mister Kotter and you won't get a headache) and in he comes with an envelope. I again appologize for my abuse for authority. He says "Thank you for the message. It means alot to me, you did that." He handed me the envelope and I walked with him down the hall, and he told me to open it. It read: "To Chad, Never Cuss at ::Teacher's Name he:!!! heart design-Stacy Keibler" He loved the look on my face when I hugged him, mid-hallway with all my friends looking on. Than I cussed them out, with no loss of sleep at all. I guess the part that makes me smile, is the fact she doesn't sign her last name when signs, I suppose from what I've seen online, and the message. So it's one of my treasures. Happy Holidays! Chad E. Young Maybe next time I'll tell you how ****ed off I got at the Big Show and Hardcore Holly |

Weird Al, seriously
About 30 of us waiting at a stage door after a show, he made security bring us all inside the theatre as it was getting cold, late, and started raining, sat us down, and happily signed for all us. That was really nice of him. I have never met him in person, but he seems
like someone that hasn't let his fame go to his head. At least I hope it wasn't a one-time thing... -- Mike Gummby3 ~~ Star Collector ~~ www.star-collector.net "Mr Black (please remove SPAMBLOCK from address if replying by email)" mrblack@(SPAMBLOCK) jeack.com.au wrote in message news:3fe5555f@tyson... It read:
"To Chad, Never Cuss at ::Teacher's Name he:!!! heart design-Stacy Keibler" He loved the look on my face when I hugged him, mid-hallway with all my friends looking on. F'n sweet story when the WWE were in melbourne for global warning i went to Fan Frenzy (think wrestlemania AXXCESS) and they had randy orten (SP?) answering questions as well as some other things in a "Steel cage" enclosed ring. after he finished he sat down at a nearby table and completely unscheduled and started signing... i also got my pic taken with the hurricane (it's at his website.. see http://home.att.net/~fandom/shbend.jpg and than this year when i was in melbourne for ruthless agression i was at the casino where the wrestlers were staying waiting around trying for autographs. Bischoff came down, baseball hat on, hooded sweat and dark glasss walking real fast.. i caught up and he signed for me.. rene dupree came down and took the time to sign for all those who wanted it and even posed for pics. i also happened to get on that day on a complete co-incidence the autograph of mark brandon read.. the guy who the movie Chopper is based on. he was awesome |

I was sitting in an off Broadway theatre watching a play called "Cobb", about
the life of Ty Cobb. Two men came in and moved into the two seats directly in front of me. I immediately recognized one of them, he was quite tall and husky, as the older veteran cop in the TV show Third Watch. When the two men sat down, the person to their right leaned over to the second man to say something. As the second man turned to answer, I recognized Kevin Spacey. After he finished speaking I offered him my program and he very pleasantly signed it. |

Jan and Dean were in town for a concert back in 1980. They were on a
local talk show the day of the concert. I went down to try and get autographs. I was the only one waiting. Not only did they sign and pose for a bunch of photos I also got to ride in the limo with them. They dropped me off at home. Their manager took pix of us in the limo. Dean asked if I was going to the concert. I said yes and that I had a front row seat. Concert time came and partway through the concert Dean dedicated the song "Barbara Ann" to me. I was speachless.... After the concert I went around to the stage door...Their manager saw me and let me in backstage. There was a nice party going on. I got more pics taken. That was an experience of a lifetime. I am soooo glad I have all the photo's to remind me... Barb |
