I don't get it. What differentiates this from any other bills?. Anyone can
go to their local bank and order a pack of 1,000 $2 bills. They will come
from a federal reserve Bank and will be in serial number order.

Don't tell anyone, but I've heard that some country other than the United
States now has on-line access. Sssssshhhh. Keep it to yourself or the whole
world will be trying to get it!!! 8-)

I don't know where you live but I can assure you that in New York State that
as of April 2004 you can no longer just go to a bank and get 1,000 $2 bills
in consecutive order. I have spent days and weeks trying. The FRB of NY
have reverted to adherence to their stated policy that they will determine
when they ship new money, not the member bank. So apparently have
surrounding FRBs. There may be some other FRBs however, which have
different policies.

Correct. I get $2000 in Twos every week to spend and make change/exchange.

I have NOT gotten any new bills in months. The bank branch even specifically requests
"new bills", but if none are available, then they get whatever is "in stock". This
pattern repeats every few years as each new series is printed. Last time - as the 1995
Twos ran out and before the 2003 seires was printed - the Twos got more and more
thrashed. I even got a few bundle/bricks that had the sticker from the Phoenix FRB
branch of the FRB of San Francisco. I guess the circulated bills accumulated there and
they cross-shipped them to the LA branch.

SO, if you can getr tons of new Twos, in your city - GREAT!

BUT, if you cannot - either because there are none OR your bank personnel refuse to
order any Twos - then by all means place a bid on the items I have listed.

AND, I re-listed them with lower prices. Not bad this time.

One more thing - since they are sealed, there is no way to tell if any notes have been
replaced with star notes. There are no obvious star bundles (since they have striped
wrappers), but bills can be replaced anywhere with stars. There could also be errors. OR
they could all simply be crisp uncirculated sequential Twos.

Harv, the same goes for the Seattle area. I have asked branches of 4
different Banks and a credit union - at least 11 branches total - and they
all assured me they cannot _guarantee_ they can get crisp new straps of
Twos, let alone bricks. Several did say that around Christmas they usually
can get lots of crisp $2s, but the keyword is usually.
