Default Office Max- Clear Polly Sheets

Hey everyone. I went to both of my Office Max locations and all they
carry now are Clear Polly acid free Heavyweight sheet proctectors?
Does Clear Polly mean anything? I never seen that before so was
curious if it was safe. Thanks for any input. I used to use Avery.
But now all there plastics turned into opening at the corner and its a
pain to slide the photos down they can get bent easy with nics etc.
Also when looking at plastics not sure if its the time of year or what
but I had to look but some of the plastics had moisture in them, you
could see rainbow streaks etc. Took me forever to find a good box of
them.

I think Poly is something short for a the technical name of
plastic/vinyl or whatever. Don't think it has a detrimental meaning.

I would not get them unless they said archival safe or acid free.

Thanks for the info! They are acid free and archival safe. Took
forever to find a good box without moisture now im not 100 percent this
is moisture free as I see small dots in the plastics, unless they are
from never been used so its the newness look to the plastic.
