Default [FA] SCOTTISH and IRISH BANKING LETTERS

I am breaking a collection of letters, mainly from Scottish and Irish Banks.
Many interesting items. Particularly

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...4505&rd=1&rd=1

If you cannot afford the Signature on a note - why not buy a letter. FAR,
FAR cheaper.

Thanks for that Billy ~ very much appreciated. To tempt our English
collectors I have added two further letters with these signed by Abraham
Newland (1803) and Henry Hase (1827) with both being former Head Cashier of
Bank of England.

Sorry I have no banknotes signed by these gentleman - although gladly accept
any in payment!!!

Hopefully the letters will do well as most can't afford notes signed by
these gentlemen.

I have a letter written by May around late 1890's I think (BoE cashier) to a
USA government official discussing stamps and the £1,000,000 note on display
at the Bank's HQ.

If I ever sell it I hope for a transatlantic bidding war. :-) Billy
