Bic stic gel pen surprise

Encountered bic's gel competitor to Pelikan's G5 but better nib and more
ergonomic for the first time yesterday. Must say I was pleasantly surprised.
Now understand John Cline the II, Giovanni and other's fascination with
bics. These are damn good and as a fp buff that is hard for me to say.
Cheap good writers easy to use and throw away.

Stypen gel I bought for $10 is pleasant and interesting by using with
Pelikan cartridges but looks and feels cheap. Are there other co's using a
similar system. Didn't Rotring have a needle nib with cartrige and/or reg
ink filler. Actually rb's and bp's have not been of interest at all,
barring the cross ion which is a staple in the trouser pocket. I love the
convenience and nice line. Bought the wife one on sale from Chuck and she is
more understanding of the pen sickness.

I 'm using he Parker Big Red 1970's look a like but cannot find a decent gel
refill to fit it. What's available here are only basic blue and black. Sadly
no funky satrap or JCII orange, purples greens and even staple red for
markers and editors. Yafa's lovely colors do not fit even with the
converter provided. Perhaps some of you in the know can direct me to a gel
refill supply place that will fit these pens.
