Default 1954 S/D quarter question

A while back I bought an uncirculated quarter, pretty much sight unseen.

The seller, who I trusted, sold it as a 1954 S/D. I don't know much
about these
kind (or any kind, for that matter) of errors, but when I compared it to

a regular 1954 S there didn't seem to be much difference. I wonder if
someone here with some expertise would care to take a look and offer
an opinion?

Thanks,
Steve E.

Gosh I don't think there is such a coin as a '54 S/D Washington quarter.
There is a '54 S/D Jefferson and a '54 S/S Washington but nothing I could
find for a '54 S/D quarter--and I agree that it doesn't even look like any
OMM either.
I don't collect those but there is no reference that I could find anywhere.

There's a D/S Jefferson too. There's a D/D Washington for '54
though-RPM-001-look at it outside in some sunlight and look at it on an
extreme angle to see better. Try that.

Default 1954 S/D quarter question

Is ther a reference that catalogs all the errors for individual coins
over the years? Or does this information reside soley with the experts?
