1941 Penny OFF CENTER Question

Default 1941 Penny OFF CENTER Question

I have a 41 penny that is you flip it end over end the back is off center to
the front, is this a error or what do you call this type of thing??? TIA

Do you mean that it is rotated somewhat from a strict 180 degrees? If so,
by how much? Small increments of rotation are fairly common. Look at a set
of Lincolns in an album sometime where you can see both sides of the coins.
Usually collectors will align the date and LIBERTY horizontally and allow
the reverses to align or misalign as they will.

Sounds like a common misaligned die. The value would depend on the condition of the
coin and the degree to which it was misaligned.

Yes it's rotated between the 10 & 11 o'clock..if ya know what I mean...it's
very noticable at least it was to me
