Default remove pelikan nib from unit

How do i remove the nib from a Pelikan nib/feed unit? A previous post
to this group suggests that i slide the steel ring off first, but that
ring is pretty tight. Thanks in advance!

Yes, use a knock-out block by all means - it's really the only way to
go.

But I can tell you that getting the nib and feed back in the ring is
difficult, soap or no soap, and the result is often a loose ring. This
means that the nib and feed can move a bit afterwards.

Best to leave alone if you can.

Regards

Tony

It has to be tight... That ring is what holds the nib and feed
together. If it were loose, the nib would wiggle around on the feed.
A knockout block works best for removing the feeder ring.

This wasn't one of the fancier units, just an m200, so i went ahead
and did it.

Maybe it was just pure luck, but i didn't have much of a problem
getting it all back together again. Fairly easy in my book, and the
ring is pretty tight. So far anyway...

Thanks for the advice!
