I think my box-o-dollars came in today, but I'm not able to get to the
bank until Friday.

Hey Fred, can you get arrested for spending those things early?

Nope.

They can punish the bank if they find them and if they actually care. "No soup for you!
Come back one year!"

Aren't they already available in Mint Sets? If so, they are legally in
circulation.

Nope. Uncirculated sets won't be out until the "Fall".

The Presidential Dollar Proof Set came out in June and the full Proof Set
came out in July. You can legally spend any of those coins right now.

I got my Big Box this morning and the teller made sure today was the
16th when she saw the label "Do Not Break Seal Before August 16".

I have already put some in circulation.

I exchanged about two rolls worth of singles at my local coin club
meeting on the 16th. I've done that with each release so far. It has
made me very popular.

Anybody who wants them can get 25 coin rolls at their local bank. Unless you live
waaaaay out in the nether lands, some bank near you should have them available. As
far as I know there is no such thing as a 50 coin Federal Reserve roll. And unless
they have changed their procedures, you can only get 250 coin bags and 25 coin rolls
from the mint. If you get the 25 coin rolls from your bank or from the mint, they
should all be uncirculated. I doubt that enough have circulated and found their way
back to the banks re-rolled or mixed in with SACs & SBAs yet. Too soon.
