Default model 2610

I am new to this so bear with me. I recently bought a model 2610. It sounds great and plays!! The problem I have is the previous owner put a switch on the outside of the box.I have to press the letter and number of the record I want to play and then flick the switch(not flip) how do I get it to play free play all the time? If I leave the switch on ,the selector will keep selecting over and over and not doing anything.Terry

Modifications can be difficult problems even for experienced people.I
would try to ask the previous owner about the mod. Get as much detail
as possible and write down the answers if you don't understand them. If
you don't have a service manual get one.(www.alwaysjukin.com) This box
is quite easy to put on free play, but first you need it working right.
Do your letter and number buttons latch in (stay down when pressed) or
do you have to hold them in? Trace the wires from the modification
switch and see what they connect to. Post again with more info and
we'll go from there. Ray
