(R.C.S.D) RIP Zvi Har'El, Haifa

A few hours ago I had a most disturbing telephone call from Haifa, from our
friend, Mrs. Zahava Har'El, that her husband through many years passed away
absolutely untimely, following his son Gilead, (who died in 1996). Zvi was
only 54, and particularly known for his excellent websites About H. C.
Andersen, Jules Verne and more, and his extraordinary knowledge about
philately as such, including Slania Numismatics, since Mr. Slania has
engraved all current Israeli banknotes.

My sympathies go go Zahava, their children, Nadav and Michal, and their
granddaughter Gili. Years back we all spent some lovely days In Denmark,
exploring Odense (the city of birth of Andersen), and Sweden. Neither Poul
nor I shall ever forget this wonderful couple, their friendship and
generosity toward us.

Rest in Peace Dear Zvi, and thank you for a wonderful philatelic friendship.
