Default Stanley Gibbons values

I have a collection of approximately 400 English presentation packs from the
mid 80s (1980s unfortunately) to the present day that I am thinking about
selling . I had a look at a Stanley gibbons catalogue to try and asses their
value but was wondering how their prices compare to what I could actually
expect to get at a stamp sale or from a stamp dealer.
I did enquire about having my collection valued at one of their valuation
days but was told that as they wouldn't be interested in buying them, they
couldn't be bothered to even value them.

Yes,I could do that but I'm to lazy.I was hoping for a general percentage to
adjust the values buy e.g -25% but I suppose generalizing doesn't work with
stamp collections.

You coulds compare your items with realizations on eBay vs. catalogue,

then
adjust downward for bulk sale.
