trainwreck, flood
Walked into an antique mall the other day. The owner, who knew I
collected postal stuff, said she would sell the 2 index card boxes of postcards for $100. Still had to think about it but went ahead. There are 210 used with stamps mostly from the turn of the century and over 300 unused, again old vintage stuff from the early 1900's. I figured that I would do groupings on the eBay of the non-postal stuff. I have had to move most everything out including my stamps as I am doing renovations and am tired of being imprisoned by STUFF. I like the stamps but for their own safety they had to go. Since they were put away I have continued in a moderate way to accumulate more and MORE. Here are links to 2 of the cards that epitomize my life and my stuff; http://tloepp.home.mindspring.com/po...trainwreck.jpg http://tloepp.home.mindspring.com/postcards/flood.jpg -- Tom Loepp Email: Website: http://loepp.home.mindspring.com/tom/ |

My stuff comes and goes like the tides. I need less clutter in my humble home. Unless I take
the time to sell it all it remains in my possession. I can generate more income faster making paintings than selling stamps so that means I will probably never get rid of the stamp collection. I just came back from moonlight skiing for 2 hours after which I sat in a hot tub under a clear starry sky. It is about 16 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 8 centigrade so I had icicles in my hair. We could look back at the mountain that we skied on. It's a good feeling to have done so much strenuous exercise. Now I will do a face plant in the pillow. The moon is nearly full and tomorrow is a full lunar eclipse so the night skiing should be good for next few nights. Is that eccentric enough, a painter, a skier, a stamp collector? When you are tired of your renovations (and you will be) you shall not be able to retrieve your "Stuff" The world needs all the eccentric collectors it can handle. Please re-think. Carry on Tom.
let the renovations begin! Eccentricity is in the eye of the beholder, and your decision is none of my business. I guess I was envious of all that clutter, leaving home :0) (Remove gum to reply) "Tom Loepp" wrote in message ... | My stuff comes and goes like the tides. I need less clutter in my humble home. I have much fun reopening the estimated seventy boxes that the collection comprises. I dream of
someday driving down the aisles of a warehouse in a forklift to retrieve my French Offices collection. ...rosebud.... TL Rodney wrote: Carry on Tom. let the renovations begin!
