Default Fed document on dollar coins

There's a Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland publication called "The Fate
of One-Dollar Coins in the U.S." published in 2004. It's the third link
on this page:

http://www.clevelandfed.org/research/commentary/2004/index.cfm

I don't recall this ever being mentioned here, although I suspect if it
was I'll hear about it. ;-)

I found this four-page document very interesting and informative.

It predicted, correctly, that the President dollars would be of
interest mainly to collectors.
It was incorrect in stating when Canada introduced a dollar coin.
Canada has used a dollar coin since 1935.
The size was reduced in 1968 when the content was changed from silver
to nickel.
The size was once again reduced and the composition changed when the
current "loonie" dollar was introduced in 1987.
Canada ensured its circulation when it ceased to print dollar bills
two years later.
A similar strategy was used when the 2 dollar "twoonie" coin was
introduced in 1996.
