Time to issue repost/warning, to save people from being more victims!

It is NOT a troll, when one warns potential victims of being victims of THEFT
at Edmonton Stamp Show!!

For several years, APS and similar philatelic organisations such as BNAPS have
had to report on thefts from those attending.

In all cases, there seem to be indications, of an INSIDE JOB!!

Bob Kane did have his documented complaint of theft while attending
the Edmonton Stamp Show reported in both APS and BNAPS.

And he was just one vocal victim of the thefts by insiders of the
Edmonton Stamp Show.

Edmonton police have many such files from victims.

The Edmonton Show has an excellent reputation in Western Canada, and
much of that reputation was developed because of the efforts over many
years of Dr. John Powell, who tragically died of prostate cancer a few
months into 2005. John had been on the Vanpex 2004 judges' panel, and I
greatly enjoyed working with him.

I do have to wonder about the design of the Edmonton club's web site,
though! Why oh why, just because designers are *able* to pull off neat
tricks with web pages, do they *compelled* to do so?! Enough with the
music! Enough with the cutesie graphics! On with the show, please!

Last year's show was an absolute disaster, with much blame being
attributed to all the negative publicity from victims of the thefts!

Hopefully even fewer people will be attending this year, and there
will then be even fewer thefts from dealers, by show insiders!!
