He hasn't responded to emails from me and I didn't save his new phone
number, so I can't call him. Haven't heard from him since the week
before Xmas. Any help reaching him would be appreciated.

Thanks,

MrB,

Google made me sign in through my gmail account to post, and I didn't
know I could do so otherwise. I rarely participate in newsgroups. I
got your email on 1/10 to my magazine account, trying to confirm the
posting was from me, but your spam blocker kept kicking back my
replies to you. I'm not here to cause controversy. I'm just trying to
reach Mike because he took a binder of autographs of ours when he was
here last, and we want him to send it back. We assumed it was my
mistake, but now we're not sure, since we hear he's been seen around
town and we still haven't heard from him.

Correction: We assumed it was "by mistake," not "my mistake."

Hey Steve, no contorversy, its just we have some people that turn up here at
random that Mike haters, so it would not have suprised me if they were
posting as you to just cause some more grief for him. He did post to this
group a few days ago, so he is around.
cheers

Why in the world would he need a binder of autographs? You mean exemplars
for reference purposes?

Maybe he's holding it hostage till he gets credit. Or maybe he feels
they stole from him....

either way, I do not see a good outcome.

to be honest with you...it's really none of your business...
i walked away from starbrite, which i was co partner of. i walked away
with my inventory (if you notice, starbrite has little or no inventory
left at this point. i gave him what we both percieved as fair, and
anything else is between me and steve. not for public consumption.
sorry. nothing was stolen or "taken," he really just has nothing else
to put in his ads except for OLD inventory.

I beg to differ.... This is a public forumn and Steve claimed you took
property that didn't belong to you. Since he made it public I would
wanted to hear your answer. You're a dealer and as with any dealer of
items I'm always concerened about someones credibility and honesty.

just more stuff that will be settled in court..there's NOT any binders
that were taken by mistake. and reguardless, it really isn't a public
matter...i'm not about to say that he did this to me and i did that to
him or whatever...
when a business breaks up, both sides have misgivings and hard
feelings between each other, and if you think that this is for public
record, i guess you should find a ex- husbands and wives chat room and
see if they dish anything on one another and how unprofessional that
would seem.
