Default Sheaffer Christmas Fountain Pens

I've recently seen a couple of items on eBay described as "Sheaffer Pen Company
Limited Edition Christmas pen for 1996. The hand painted holly and ball cap
decoration was inspired by artist Coles Phillip's original illustration in the
Sheaffer's 1920s advertising."

Anybody familiar with these pens? Is 1996 the only year Sheaffer made limited
edition Christmas pens?

Thanks!

I believe it was the only year, I have seen the fountain pen by itself, and
a set FP/BP. Each come is a book style case. I think I have the FP somewhere
(Imperial), so if you need any other info?

All in all, they are very beautiful pens.

The 1966 Christmas pen is based upon the Sheaffer Imperial. The pen
body is red with holly leaf designs on metal cap. In 1997 the Snow
Flake pen was produced based upon the Prelude model, This pen has a
metal body with snow flakes etched upon it. It was intended to produce
a new pen every year but no further pens were produced. They came in a
very nice book type box with a 1920s picture on the inside cover. They
were produced as fountain and ballpoint pens. They are regularly for
sale on ebay.

Hope this is helpful
