Default RIP - Byron Nelson

Byron Nelson passed away at the age of 94. A true golf legend.

About a month ago I received back an SASE I'd sent to him back in July
with two photos and a note to pick his favorite. I got a form letter
back with my photos saying that due to the volume of requests he could
only sign one and to please find my single signed photo inside.

Unfortunately both were unsigned. I remember being very disappointed
and I sent a quick note with the form letter back on the 6th along with
a photo.

I feel pretty crappy for being disappointed now.

He was a true gentleman who cared for the fans and seemed to honor most
requests. My misfortune aside, a sad loss for sports.

I missed his autograph, but have a great 3x5 signed card by Ben Hogan!
