WWII 3-Book Lot on Military Aircraft, c 40s
This is a book lot of 3 WWII era books on military aircraft. The first is titled, Modern War Planes of the World (copyright 1942). This book is 64 pages of colored pictures of warplanes of the allies and axis giving a description of each. The second book is titled, Aircraft Recognition, How to Identify British, German, and Italian Planes (copyright January 1943). This is an Infantry Journal book by Penguin Books. It is 252 pages and gives photograph pictures and silhouette (front, top, side) pictures of each aircraft along with a detailed description of recognition points of the airplanes. This is a training type manual. The third book is titled, Introduction to Airplanes, Restricted, Navy Training Courses (copyright 1944). This is a Naval training manual that is 232 pages and describes the airplanes used by the U.S. Navy during WWII. All books are in fair to good condition.
