WWII U.S. Fixed Bale M1 Helmet w/ liner

This WWII U.S. early style fixed bale M1 helmet is in excellent condition
with liner. The helmet is OD green color. It has a rim edging that is spot
welded into place. The chinstrap loops are (squared) and welded into place
on the inside of the helmet. The chinstrap is not present. The liner is a
fiber construction and the outside is white in color. The inner cloth and
leather straps are riveted into place (no snaps). The liner is marked
(CAPAC) in a cross formation. Around the cross are the numbers (1, 2, 5, 5)
and a (19) at the bottom of the cross. There is also a (W) and (O) in a
circle.Both helmet and liner are in excellent condition. There are no dents
to the helmet and no cracks to the liner.
