Default 1928 $1 Silver certificate - red seal

I have a $1 silver certificate from 1928. I checked a couple of places
online and noticed that the 1928 $1 bill should have a blue seal. Mine
has a red seal. The year is 1928 plain (not 1928A or 1928B, etc.)

Anyone have any idea on its worth?

Thank You

Angel,

What you've got is actually a "United States Note" (it should say
that at the top of the note).

"What it's worth" depends on several things. The condition of the
note (does it look like the day it was printed, about the same
condition as the average note you see in circulation, or is the dirt
the only thing holding it together), is there any damage (tears,
repairs with tape or writing), and finally the serial number.
Collectors generally pay more for notes with "interesting" serial
numbers like "A11223344A" or if there's a star at the beginning of the
number.

Depending on all those things, it could be worth $15, or it could be
worth $3000...

hope this helps,
Scott
